Covin Owner Builder Paul Saxon

This Covin build by Paul Saxon has been ongoing for a few years but is now in the final stages of build after what can only be described as an adventurous project.

Paul has decided to fit a Porsche 3.3 Turbo engine/gearbox and I remember him saying on the web forum that he was about to chop up the rear beam with a still saw in order to create the space required to fit the engine in....Brave man.....

This Covin is one to look out for as Paul really has created what is sure to be a fine example, he's used Porsche brakes all round and even managed to graft in a complete metal Porsche dash by chopping out the bulkhead of a crash damaged Porsche at the breakers in order to get the correct look. Can you imagine what this Covin will perform like with a Porsche 3.3 Turbo engine ? Power to weight ratio will make it go like a rocket and I expect Paul to look 15 years younger after his first test drive due to the G-Force it will create. A job well done and I look forward to seeing it in 2005.
