Covin Owner Builder Lee Thacker

Lee Thacker has been building his Covin for a couple of years now and as you'll see he has overcome some serious problems transforming his Covin into an exceptional example that is sure to be a future show winner. Work is still in progress and I'm sure we'll get a full build report from Lee in the near future.

Lee's Covin uses a fully rebuilt Ford V6 2.8 injection engine, has full C2/C4 body kit, Porsche leather interior and has now been painted in Polar Silver. He has carried out the build himself and has still managed to keep within his £5000 build budget.

He has opted for a front mounted radiator so I will reserve judgement here...You know my thoughts on that Lee.....

I'm sure you will all agree that this Covin is one to look out for in 2005 and a credit to Lee for all his time and effort. A job well done.





This is really going to be a fine example, just look at the attention to detail. After so much work I'm sure we'll see Lee at the shows in 2005 with a big grin on his face and who could blame him. I know I'm looking forward to seeing it.
