Heres a pic of my car.[img][/img]
This is my 2nd Covin, the first I sold at a weak moment and regretted it since. This one I came across before I bought my first one (in bits) and bought it, then noticed the white one for sale finished so bought it and sold this one to a mate. Anyway it sat around for a few years and after selling my white one I started pestering my mate to sell it back to me. He finally gave in and so here it is almost finished. I'll get some more pics up in the next few weeks.

Type 1 IRS rear, type 3 front. Chasis powdercoated , wheels are Simmons. Rear spoiler came off a racecar(GT3 maybe). Doors are steel porsche items with electric windows. Motor at present is a 1600 type 3 motor but plans are to replace this soon with a subaru (probably ej20t).

Sounds good, the subaru ej20 is a good engine choice and should transform the drive of the car.
Look forward to seeing a few more pictures :smt012

Hi Mark,
Good to see you're still playing with Covins. :smt012 :smt012 :smt012
Didn't your original (white) one have a Scubi drivetrain at some point? :smt017
Haven't driven it much in the last 12 months :smt013 , haven't lost interest :smt015 , this forum & its members (Doros, Darren & Mark in particular!) are a great inspiration. :smt043

As it turns out you either have Money or Time, very few of us are blessed with both! :smt005

Anyway look forward to seeing your progress.......

:smt039 SeeYA :smt039
Rainer
