Be good to get a few cars in a line, anyone else thinking about it..

It sounds like it could be a good day out, all the normal stuff like Stoneligh plus free entry to the "classic sports car racing" on the track too

If I was looking for one, preferably tax exempt, and a beetle engine, how much should I expect to pay? I don't mind what it looks like as I'd be changing things on it anyway most likely, just as long as the mechanics are good.

anywhere between £500 and £4000 depending on condition, spec and "paperwork"

Does this seem worth the price? Looks like it would need a lot of money spent to make it look accurate, new bumpers, seats, steering wheel and wheels for starters. So I wasn't too sure.
