Hello,

my name is Johan, I'm 27 years old and live near Antwerp, Belgium.

at the moment, I've almost finished building my 944 trackday car,
and I'm looking for something else to put the Fuchs rims on :)

since real 911's are too expensive for me right now (or at least decent ones)
I've started looking for a Covin in the area of about 4.000-5.000 £

Kind regards,
Johan

Hello Johan,
I had a 1984 944, I fitted a 1991 3000cc S2 engine and it went very well!!
I had it for about 3 yrs in Lanzarote.
My Covin will be for sale soon, It is a LHD with a 2110cc tuned beetle engine.
I am finishing preparing the bodywork then I will put on primer.
The car will need the windows fitting with new seals,(which I dont have)
and interior trimming and carpets.
The engine runs "Megasquirt" fuel injection with a Ford EDIS ignition system.
I will post some more progress pictures on my build thread" Blue Covin living in Marbella"
Let me know if you are interested?

Here is the 944.

Hi,

I love the classic RS-look, so I’m definitely interested.
And the timing is about correct too because I recently sold my appartment and bought a
new home so the financials will be settled around mid Oktober.

Greetings,
Johan

Hello,

in the mean time, I've bought myself another 944

and I've started restoring this '66 912:

It's freshly painted and just needs finishing.

Greetings,
Johan

Just a question but why do you want a Covin when you have a 912?

Hi Mutley,

my first post was from 6 months ago,
I was first looking for a Covin, until I stumbled upon the 912
and started restauration.
I'm still planning on buying a covin project, just for fun :)

Greetings,
Johan
