Hello All!

Firsly, thanks to Darren for helping me log on to the site.

Well I'm currently writing this post from a coach on it's way to pick up Lois tomorrow. I am buying her from Korky(An absolute gentleman by the way) and I'm having a service done on Lois in the morning and then looking forward to driving her home in the afternoon. I have the insurance all ready on the car and all should be go tomorrow afternoon!

I have been having a good look around the site and its full of great information and you all seem like a great bunch of lads.

Im suffering a mid life crisis (at only 34) and have bitten the bullet on getting myself a covin. I've always been into porsche's since being a young lad and have been toying with the idea of buying myself one for years. The Porsche replica seems like the way to go for me because I wouldn't be the best mechanically and would love to learn and not to be afraid to make mistakes as I know I would if I got a classic Porsche needing attention.

I see from searching the web that Lois has a good bit of information around her travels and I hope to continue with them. Im quite camera happy so expect lots of photos over the coming weeks and months.

Looking forward to talking to you all on the site and will post pics of Lois when she gets to her new home.

Thanks for all the welcome's!,

Well I drove Lois home today and will give a better description tomorrow, because I'm too excited to type. I'm like an 8 year old all evening and just want to keep driving her. I drove home with a permanent smile on my face, I had so much fun driving her and loved every minute of it.

Have pics taken, just trying to sort out my photo bucket account as it doesn't seem to like my iPad.

Pics to follow and I will be able to post like an adult tomorrow....well maybe!

Glad you enjoyed it i cant think of any better feeling for me than jumping in my covin and going for a drive. I really dont understand how any1 could part with their covin unless they really need the money id sell my everday driver before the covin in a heartbeat.

And id say your a lucky guy gettingto drive your covin the day you bought it, i had to suffer a full 12 month of re building mine before i could drive it, it almost killed me the excitment that was building up. Lol

The sun is out, so I'm going to enjoy my day off with a drive around the local lake with all it's lovely twisty bends.

Permanent smile on my face: :smt001
