Late last year I purchased a certain black Covin coupe off Ebay, doing some research into the Covin I came across this site to see my new Covin listed under Claire's Covin.

It is currently undergoing a full restoration with the help of a classic car restoration company after I blew the rather sick engine up.

It is having a bespoke wiring loom made, roll cage fitted and it will be turned into a track day car with a design close to the 2.14 Carrera Turbo.

I am in the process of designing a turbo install to fit latter this year on a spare engine and gearbox.

Pictures will follow shortly.

Welcome to the Club :smt006

It's great to hear Claire's Covin has found it's way to a good home/owner at last and is now being restored :smt004

Look forward to seeing some pictures and hearing more about your plans for the Covin.

Interesting to hear your going to make a track day car, im in the process of building a new chassis for mine having had mine on the the road and finding its limitations with the original chassis and wanting to track day my self. Depending on what type of engine your going to use the weight ratio coud be a problem, like andy says pics would be great :smt012
