A friend of mine is looking for a very nice Covin 911.
He would prefer a really up together car with a 911 engine installed or something similar.
If anyone is considering selling their Covin then please let me know and I will pass on the details.

Thanks
Steve

Not many around with the 911 engines in, only a select few, most come with subaru, ford or vw engines, any covins with porsche engines you'll have to add 6-7k on top of the price tag as thats what 911 running gear can run at price wise now, the old 80s models have sky rocketed in price, so im lucky to have picked up a Covin before they start going up in value too! :smt003

This is the only one I have found on offer on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/porsche-covin ... SwCGVX-Kup
needs re registering as a Covin 911 as its currently registered as a VW Beetle.

Thanks Stu. We have seen that one but it falls well below what he is looking for. It has to be a really nice car for him to be interested in buying it. Hopefully one will come up for sale soon.

Thanks
Steve

Steve,

Unfortunately I think I'm going to have mine up for sale :smt005 :smt005 :smt005 I need cash for a car my wife can drive a well.

I built it from scratch, Road Tax free, had it on road about 4 years now, T25 1.9 waterboxer engine in it with twin 40 webers, i was going to try Subaru engine conversion as water system is all fitted but now circumstances changed.

build photos are on my build thread

Thanks Mark.

I will pass on your details to him but I think that he would prefer one of the Porsche engine cars or something similar.

BTW. Your car looks great. Congratulations on the build.

Yes we probably would. My friend saw a Covin with a Porsche 911 engine in it some time ago and has always wanted one ever since. He is now in a position to buy one hence the post on here.
Not sure how many Covins have the 911 engines fitted in them but I suspect there were a few.

Hi mate .A Covin with a Porsche engine , there are four i know of, one not seen for some years, one white, one red, one black, and a blue one, I don't think your mate will be able to get one, there not for sale, there are plenty other ones around, like marks, that are finished,
Best of luck

Most people dont bother looking at the engine if you keep the boot down, it is amusing though seeing purists look over it and say what a lovely porsche it is :smt043
