Rare and I believe the only Narrow bodied Covin ever made ( for sale), it's also mentioned on Wikipedia,
taxed correctly registered and Mot'd. Covin chassis.
You can contact me for further details on zighini@googlemail.com
I bought it for 7000 last year I spent 2000 on top and it's now for sale, cause I have no clue on how to maintain these cars on my own , and I have had enough of paying somebody else.
I won't sell it for less then 7k,it looks great, as I took real good care of it.
You can look at the rebuild and the workmanship on this website.or contact me for further photos.
It is Tax exempt.
Thank you for looking.
Moe

Hi mate , if this is the white car which was rebuilt by jez this is a nice one in deed,
but be carful on your quote, covin never made a narrow body covin turbo , it has been altered by a former owner, very well i would like to add,
i know this car from a previous owner, Paul,
any pics as how it is now would be good, on here.
best of luck with sale,

mark

This car deserves a good home, Moe is a totally genuine guy,and his reason for sale is one most Inexperienced owners face, as you own a custom built car, Halfords won't touch you, so unless you are quite handy with the spanners,( and Moe by his own admission once asked where the radiator was on the air cooled beetle) so he's paying out top bat for even the simplest jobs.
I did warn him of these things, and I eventually sold the car to a mate in work, who again, although a little mechanical savvy, still couldn't sort the little niggles out, and paid a " mechanic" to do a few jobs, not very well in my opinion, but it shows that these cars are best owned by competent guys, as I was once told, " a kit car is never finished"
I viewed several Covins before buying the "Jez Covin" and was disappointed every time, the attention to detail just wasn't there.
I have a neighbor who has a modern 911, and he didn't even know I existed, but once the narrow Covin was up the path, he stopped, and held a lengthy conversation on how much he loved the early 911 Porsche, he was totally taken in, complimenting me on the lack of rust, and the overall great condition of the car, he even said it sounded well, honestly!
He's never spoken to me since I told him it was a fiberglass kit car powered by a Beetle engine, but it shows the quality of the build.
Moe is asking £7k, and I know it's cost him more than that, and yes, you can buy a Covin cheaper, the same ones come up for sale on EBay, most are very rough, or the owner has discovered that not being correctly registered, is a major problem.
It's tax exempt too!
It has a genuine spare wheel under the bonnet, and a tow eye at the front.
I miss owning the car, but my wife would kill/ divorce me if I bought it back, plus she's not well, so I couldn't .
If I can answer any questions, I will gladly, but Moe is 100% genuine, it's not in his nature to pull the wool over anyone's eyes, so give him a call :smt003
