After three years of having it sit in the garage, I have come to realise that I will never get around to doing anything with it :smt005

I bought this in 2009 with all good intentions and it has stayed in the same place ever since. It was driven into the garage and left there. I did start it 6 months ago but when I tried it again recently with a charged battery, it just made a click, I think the starter motor has stuck.

The interior needs refitting but is all there and the whole car will need a going over (i.e. brakes, engine, shocks, bushes etc). There are wing mirrors and a fuel cap but will need painting and then fitting. There is a spare starter motor with it too but I have no idea of it's condition.

It has a Covin chasis with beetle running gear and a 1.6 Engine mated to a 4 speed Gearbox. It has Porsche Turbo 2 Alloys with good tyres. I believe it has disc brakes all round.

Please be aware that this is more than a weekends tinkering but is certainly not a basket case. The first lot of pictures are from when I bought the car. The picture of it in the garage is how it is now.

I'm looking for offers around £1950 or may p/x swap for something interesting.

Nice one Steve. That's great news :smt012

I remember seeing this Covin at Donington & Harrogate show way back in 2001. Think it used to belong to Paul Ward :smt017
