Went with John and his Uncle in his type 25 camper to first show of the year Stafford.

Its amazing how the shows changed so much over the years especially interest now being mainly campers. The show had 4 companys selling interiors plus many other items.
There wernt too many show cars there as i only took my covin once to show and by the end of the day was glad to get my car out of the packed indoor hall as it was covered in kids grotty hand prints The parents not even bothered that they were all over someones pride and joy.I saw the same happening when i was there.Anyhow was a very busy packed venue and a regular show for me a as been going for the past 20 years.

Was a comfortable ride in the t25,quite cozy in the back with a cuppa and a bacon roll :smt004

The thread title threw me for a minute mind :smt003 Wasn't this DubFreeze 2013 Danny ?

A few guys from Flat4Dubs went down last weekend. They said it was really good with some great vehicles on display and even better ones in the car parks :smt012 :smt004

Haha yes blue skys indeed yet cloudy in my brain!! Dubdaze was name of Wrexham vw club i was secretary off in early 90s .Ive changed it .Dubfreeze used to be called bugfreeze though not as many bugs now. Still love an old oval.Found out my parents had a split window beetle in 64 they got given from my mums sister.Had the crash gearbox. They got rid for a watercooler.
The rusty vehicles are called" Rat look" They are structurley sound and may have a beefy engine lurking underneath and a shiny set of wheels. One thing for it you wont be worried bout the paintwork were it mint.
Hope to have a little tweek done by May with any luck Paul. :smt012
