I remembered last night a curious Speedster I rescued about 12 years or so ago.
It was a strange beast that had no identification on it at all but was, basically a Speedster body tub fitted onto a heavily chopped Alfa Romeo floorpan, front and running gear, complete with rear Panhard rod and front mounted Alfa Boxer engine.
The dash and scuttle had been completely cut away to make way for the Alfa scuttle complete with windscreen frame !!
I manage to resurrect the engine so it was running but had too many projects to even do anything more than that.
I gave it to a chap in Wales and I think he sold it on via Ebay as I did see it for sale there but havent heard or seen of it since.

I'll have a dig and see.
They had cut out the complete dash and forward scuttle, then simply dropped it onto a chopped Alfa. When I first saw it I thought WTF is that, as it had the alfa windscreen frame poking through the front.
I tried to get either Legend or Pilgrim to make me a scuttle for it but the both didnt have the time. I ended up making one myself but never fitted it before I stopped work on it.
It was a real mess. I spent some time tidying it up got the engine running then gave it to a chap in Wales as I already had a Speedster and Cobra in builds.
